Playson expands in Romania’s “key market”; agrees supply deal with MaxBet Entertainment Group for online casino

After recently expanding its LatAm presence and casino games and software developer Playson has now agreed a content supply deal with gaming operator MaxBet Entertainment Group Plc for its Romania-facing online casino brand, MaxBet.ro.

Under the agreement, the leading gaming operator in Central and Eastern Europe (CCE) will gain access to the developer’s diverse portfolio of slot titles, including the wildlife-inspired Wolf Power: Hold and Win, 3 Fruits Win: Double Hit, and Legend of Cleopatra: Megaways, Playson’s first title to utilize the player-favorite mechanic.

Courtesy of the new partnership, the Romanian operator’s online casino offering is significantly enhanced while the deal, which is the Malta-based slots specialist‘s latest within CCE markets, while further demonstrating Playson’s continued growth in the region and beyond after having considerably bolstered its content offering and consistently maintained an increase in its international footprint.

Sales Director for Playson, Blanka Homor explained in a company presser that signing with MaxBet is “a welcome step for the company” as it “occupies a leading position within the key market of Romania.”

Homor went on to say that the company’s “multi-award-nominated offering has continued to expand and improve in recent weeks with an innovative range of new mechanics and gaming titles, so we have no doubt that it will prove highly beneficial for our new partner.”

Prominent operator:

Established in 2002, Maxbet Entertainment Group LTD has grown to become the leading gaming and family entertainment operator in Central and Eastern Europe, with more than 160 land-based locations in Romania (MaxFun), Italy (Joy Village), and Belarus, including 8,000-plus betting venues spanning 50 cities.

Also commenting on the tie-up, Chief Executive Officer for MaxBet, Victor Rusinov said they are “thrilled to be launching with Playson, a world-class provider boasting an extensive and varied array of products which have been successful across the globe.”

He added that they look forward to woking alongside their new partner and “have no doubt” the collaboration will “bring a myriad of benefits to both companies in the coming period.”

LatAm growth:

Meanwhile, just prior to the latest tie-up, Playson announced a deal that will see Latin America-based platform provider BetConnections and its operator network provided with the casino games and software developer’s content suite, including such popular titles as Rich Diamonds: Hold and Win, Solar Queen, and Divine Dragon: Hold and Win.

The move within the LatAm region adds to the company’s further bolsters its presence on the continent and its rapid growth in the region, having secured multiple strategic agreements with industry-leading commercial partners.

Recent product advances:

In recent months Playson has also strengthened its product offering considerably with a number of successful game launches while also debuting its new Reel of Fortune promotional tool.

The latest addition to its integration-free suite of engagement tools, including Network Jackpots, “Free Spins,” Feature Trigger, and Network Tournaments, the feature allows players to collect coins by placing bets on one if the developer’s exciting slots, before making their way into the Reel of Fortune where they have a chance to win cash prizes.

Playson’s Homor said during 2021, they’ve gone from “strength to strength” in Latin America and partnering with “an advanced platform provider such as BetConnections is testament to that success.”

She added that recent launches such as the Reel of Fortune advance, in addition to a new user interface (UI), have taken their product to “a new level” and they look forward to enhancing their offering even further.
